- Strict separation of waste materials takes place in the warehouses. Employees have received training in advabce and posters are visible everywhere describing the right way to separate and dispose waste.
- In order to save energy, air conditioners may only be turned on when the room temperature reaches 25° Celsius. At the same time employees are very careful to only turn on lights when necessary. Motiondetector activated light switches have been installed to automatically turn lights on and off in parts of buildings where employees seldom go.
- Employees are encouraged to use stairs to reduce the usage of elevators if they only have to go to an office that is just two floors up or down.
- Photocopiers and printers should be operated in the energy savings mode during the working day.
- Plugs of electrical equipment not in use should be pulled out of the wall sockets.
